Open Positions - There are currently no open positions on the Board. A vacancy outside of the Annual Meeting cycle - If there was a vacancy in the middle of a year (outside of the Annual Meeting election cycle) and you were interested in joining the Board, you would complete and submit the VAC Trustee Vacancy Nomination Form. A vacancy is communicated via email and Facebook. You must be a homeowner and you must be a Member in Good Standing as defined in Section 2.06 of the Code of Regulations to serve on the Board. Annual Meeting elections - At each Annual Meetings the community elects two homeowners as new trustees. A separate communication, about six weeks prior to the Annual Meeting, is mailed via the Post Office to all homeowners. Anyone interested in applying for a position on the Board would need to fill out and submit a standard Nomination Form. You must be a homeowner and you must be a Member in Good Standing as defined in Section 2.06 of the Code of Regulations to serve on the Board. [Note the 2020 amendment to our Bylaws changed the process such that a trustee now serves a 3 year term. At each Annual Meeting the community elects just two new trustees (not all five as in the past). This maintains some experience on the Board at all times. Existing trustees can choose to run for another term. There are no term limits for Board members.] |

Delaware Soil and Water Conservation District
Note | If you have water drainage problems in your yard you will want to call Matt Lanum. He is the Drainage Maintenance Coordinator for Delaware County. The Deed Restrictions do not allow any resident to change the topography of their lots in such a way that water issues are created for a neighbor. It is best to call Matt and have him take a look at the drainage problem and suggest ways of correcting it. |

Specialty Windows and Doors
Note | If you have a window with a broken seal (in other words there is moisture between the panes of glass) you can choose to replace just the pane. You do not need to replace the entire window frame. A pane with a broken seal does not effectively insulate your home from the elements. Specialty Windows and Doors located on Wilson Bridge Road has the window size data for all homes built by M/I Homes. They will order replacement panes that are exact fits for your window frames. They can install the new panes. Or, if you are handy, you can install them yourself. This is a much cheaper alternative to new windows. You are welcome to hire whomever you like, of course. |

The Mailbox Kid
Note | The Mailbox Kid (Trevor) lives in our community and offers mailbox services. He will stain your existing mailbox with the HOA approved stain. He can repair various parts and replace numbers. Note | Thumbtack is like Angie’s List except you don’t have to have a membership. You submit some basic information about your project and a variety of contractors express interest. You pick and choose the contractor you feel most comfortable with. The HOA found a fence repairman using Thumbtack. He did a great job at a reasonable price. But they have carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc. |
